After not working on my Saas app Noteo for over a year, I came back to the project with fresh eyes and so many things I would have done better. And of course, my design fingers were itching to give Noteo a fresh new user interface.

Improved Color Contrast
My number one issue with the UI of Noteo’s first version was the lack of sufficient contrast in the color palette. It caused everything to look washed-out at best and down-right unusable for persons with visual impairments.
More modern technologies
I built this second version of Noteo using Tailwind, as opposed to vanilla CSS in the previous version, this makes adjusting the color palette super quick and easy.

Landing page
By far one of the most challenging things about working on Noteo has been doing my own marketing efforts. I’m no marketing expert, but working on landing pages is always a nice challenge that has a lot of overlap with UI/UX design.
I designed the landing page of Noteo to highlight primarily the core benefits that it offers users, and secondarily the features it has.

Demo Video
I try to push updates to Noteo regularly. Here’s the latest demo video I recorded. It gives a quick look at the current state of Noteo v2.
